ALM Note: Friends Group Support : Braeside Park

ALM has skill and expertise in the management of natural landscapes. Our staff have ongoing projects associated with Sandy Heathlands and Redgum Woodlands of Melbourne's south-east. Braeside Park is a 290Ha parkland with a diverse history as farmland, a horse racing track and as a part of Melbournes water treatment works. It has considerable Redgum woodland across much of the park. ALM has provided a support person to help the Friends Group with maintenance sessions while working in area with comprehensive understory coverage. Many areas require careful handweeding among lilies and orchids - the identification of which is not always easy!
